"I have enjoyed working with Hamed. He joined our team at a critical time as we transitioned from one version of our proprietary software to an updated, but markedly different version. As we phased it in, a lot was going on, creating a material learning curve for our varied audiences. Our team was responsible for testing it, writing training material, responding to questions, and resolving bugs. There was a lot on the plates of a small team. He was responsible for communicating the progress and timelines, providing a forum for the training materials, taking in and responding to feedback, and generally keeping a broad audience up-to-date on the transition—the actual test of how valuable that was came as we readied to retire the old site. We had a fair amount of anxiety about how the users would react, but it went smoothly. I genuinely believe Hamed's communications were critical in allowing for that success.
He was inventive in ways that none of us had ever dared to be in prior attempts at communicating about our work to our end users before he joined us: he created a podcast. He was also instrumental in composing a regular comic, so he was constantly working to reach out to all different audience types in whatever way they'd take it. He realized that we are not a 'one-size-fits-all' audience. Of course, he also excelled at the 'traditional' communication strategies of email blasts and announcements, making them eye-catching and readable. He created and maintained a support website as well.
I found him supportive and a kind team member who helped proofread and critique the work I was responsible for producing as part of our conversion and ongoing support. He takes the term 'team' seriously."

"Hamed has talent, creativity and consistency. As part of our Business Empowerment and Solutions Team, he filled a vital gap between product development and informing the user base by creating all kinds of communications that went out to thousands of employees across the company. What impresses me most about Hamed is how quickly and accurately he was able to learn the things that he was supposed to communicate about. It took me quite a few years to absorb some of these topics, and he had to learn about them one week and write about them at an expert level the next. I don't know how he did it, but he succeeded wonderfully.
I also liked his initiative. Several times he came up with new ideas for helping us meet our team objectives - for example, he created a flashcard deck for new terms and acronyms of the industry, and set up an entire website to house his communication library.
